This child reminds me so much of me when I was a kid in so many ways its crazy. Two silly examples are she is always playing in the dirt or anything messy and she is always naked and so was I. She makes me laugh so many times throughout the day. She is defiantly my wild child but surprisingly she is starting to be really timid around kids, especially kids she doesn't know...she wont even look at them! I was also a wild child at home but I was painfully shy around kids I didn't know.
The day before Easter Ava came down with a fever of 104 and it didnt go away for 9 days! After two trips to the doctor and two trips to the emergency room we finally accepted that it was just RSV and nothing more serious. I hated seeing my baby so sick. All she wanted to do was lay on the couch or in my bed and watch movies. She didn't want to eat anything and she would not take her medicine...it was horrible but she is back to her little spunky self now and we are glad that is over and that the baby didn't get sick.
Despite Ava being very sick with RSV and the bad weather we had a great Easter. In Ava's Easter basket she got a bunny. His name is Fluffy but Ava calls him Bunny Easter. He is very cute and the perfect pet for our family. I am having some problems uploading the video but she was so excited when she finally realized that it was a real live bunny. After the excitement of the Bunny we went down to grandma Maggie's house for a Easter Egg hunt outside right before it rained.
Then we headed to Oroville for another egg hunt inside because it was raining.
She wanted nothing to do with the real eggs. She only wanted the plastic eggs and she ate the candy out of them as she went and there was no stopping her!
Here is our cute little Easter Bunny, we LOVE her!
Ava is getting so good at riding her bike and she loves it. She hops on and heads to the street to go to grandmas house constantly so we really have to watch her outside. She usually will not stop when we tell her to so we end up chasing her down the street and she pedals faster and faster to try to get away from us...she thinks its funny and doesn't care about getting in trouble when we catch her.
Michael and I met in September of 2005 thanks to a good friend of ours. We dated for a year and were married in the Sacramento Temple in December of 2006. We now have two little girls keeping us very busy and this blog is pretty much all about them.
