Cayleigh Ruth's first pictures

Today we had a 4D ultrasound to check the size of the baby. I have been measuring 1-2 weeks bigger that I actually am for the last couple of months so my doctor wanted to see how big she was. The ultrasound said she weighed 7 pounds 7 ounces! Look at her chubby little cheeks, she is so cute!
Side view of her face
A cute little hand in front of her face
Isnt she cute? Yawning
Sooo cute, we can't wait to meet her!

Labor day weekend- Ft. Bragg

We spent Labor Day weekend camping in Ft. Bragg Ca. We had a great time!
We camped r.v. style...my parents offered to let us have the bedroom and they slept in a tent. Surprisingly, it was my dads idea. The funny thing was that he let us sleep in the bedroom because he thought I was only a week away from my due date. If he would have known I still had six weeks to go he probably wouldn't have offered. Here we are peeking out the window.
Michael often has silly ideas and 99.9% of the time I tell him hes crazy and change the subject. We were walking in the little downtown part of Ft. Bragg with lots of cute little shops and we saw a sock store called "Pippi Longstocking Sock Co." Michael had a fun idea that we could go in and he would pick out a pair of socks for me and I would pick out a pair for him and we couldnt show eachother what we got and we would both pick out socks for Ava and the new baby. Five pairs of socks and $42.00 LATER we came out of there with some pretty awesome socks. We will never be spending that much on socks ever again! Gotta love Michael's fun ideas though.
Ava playing in the sand at the beach by our campground.
My parents offered to take all three kids on the Skunk Train for the day. They left at 10:00 am and got back at 4:00 pm. My dad let us take his Corvette to Mendicino and we had a really fun date day and we made it back to the train station for the kids big arrival. Ava and Brycen were so excited looking out the window, Kolbee had fallen asleep on my dad. Needless to say grandma and grandpa looked a little wiped out.
Here come the happy campers...
As soon as Ava got off the train she ran straight into the gift shop and starting collecting all the trains she could find and of course a stuffed skunk that she had her eye on the day before. We bought her a little remote controlled train and now she is slightly obsessed with trains. My mom surprised her later with the stuffed skunk, she calls it her kitty.
The only time we ever went down to the water was late at night. Ava loves the ocean and we felt bad that we didnt take her down to play during the day.
And here I am at 35 weeks...Michael made me put this one up. He was the photographer the whole weekend so I dont have any to put up of him, sorry Michael.

The Fair

We love it when the fair is here every year at the end of every August. This year was even more fun because Ava got to go on rides all by herself. She wasn't really tall enough to go on any rides but we were able to sneak her on to a few and she absolutely loved it!
Michael must have taken her through this fun thing 20 times. She would go through all the obstacles and down the slide and run over to the stairs to do it again...and again...and again. I think her dad probably had just as much fun as she did, they were so cute.
Her first Merry go round...another one of her favorites.
Her crooked smile-just like her dads before his surgery.
And another favorite, the cars. She loved to switch back and forth from the drivers seat to the passengers seat.
Checkin' out the chickens. I love how they are focusing so hard, mouth wide open and all.
