For the last week or so I have been trying to teach Ava how to kick her legs in the pool. Her favorite place to play is on the stairs in the pool so I decided to put floaties on her arms, just to be safe. She went down to the the bottom step and accidentally walked off and started swimming around the pool (with the floaties on of course.) She just kept saying "weeeeeeeeeee! Weeeeeeee!" as she swam around the shallow end and back to the stairs. I guess our little swim lessons are paying off! Good job Ava!
Ava discovered mommy's makeup while mommy was on the phone.
She was so proud of herself! She looked so pretty she didn't want mommy to take it off.
Ava and I were twinners on Mother's day:). We had a great day, Ava and Michael are so good to me. Thanks Nikki for taking a picture!
We went to the Red suspenders day parade with Great Grandma Ruth and Grandpa Steve. Ava was pretty interested in the horses and fire trucks but she was most interested in all the candy that grandpa helped her collect.
Greta and Ava trying to cool off inside after the parade.
This is the lovely smile she gives me when I tell her to say, "cheese."
We spent Memorial day out on the lake with my parents. Ava is loving the lake this year. She gets so relaxed out there and falls asleep so easily, she even let us rock her to sleep!
Lookin' cool in her shades.
Ava's first tube ride. She held very still the whole time she sang her ACB'Cs and eventually fell asleep. She did not want to get off when her ride was over she told grandpa that she wanted to go more.
We also had a sonogram and found out that we are going to have another baby GIRL! We are so very excited!
Today I was going through Maggie's pictures on her computer when I came across this lovely picture of our pool taken about three years ago. I was SO EXCITED to see these pictures because I couldn't remember what the pool looked like before the makeover. I remember it being gross out there but definitely not this gross! I hope that this picture doesn't change your minds about coming over to swim this summer my friends!
Maggie also had these pictures on her computer. Here we are putting on the final coat of paint last summer with all of our great helpers.
Michael and I met in September of 2005 thanks to a good friend of ours. We dated for a year and were married in the Sacramento Temple in December of 2006. We now have two little girls keeping us very busy and this blog is pretty much all about them.
